Terms & cancellation policy

In brief: payment is taken when you book, you may reschedule free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice, and you may cancel within 14 days of booking. The full terms are set out below.

1. About The X Suit

The X Suit is the trading name of Jordan James, a freelance personal stylist and image consultant working with clients in London, Manchester and online. In these terms, "I" and "me" mean Jordan James, and "you" means the person booking.

2. Services and prices

Each service, what it includes and its price are set out on the Services page. Prices are in pounds sterling (£). The 15 minute style call is free, and booking it places you under no obligation.

Colour Analysis and Image Consultation are booked by enquiry: I will confirm your date in writing and send you a secure payment link. Image Consultation takes place over two sessions; the second is booked at the end of the first and takes place within four weeks. Optional extras are priced on each service page and may be added when you book or within three months of your session.

Welcome offer

New clients receive 30% off their first booking with The X Suit, when the booking is made by 31 December 2026.
The discount applies to the service and to any optional extras added to that first booking, including the first month of The Style Membership. Discounted prices are rounded down to the nearest pound.
The offer applies to one booking per client and ends on 31 December 2026.
Each service page shows its welcome price. All other terms on this page apply in full.

3. Booking and payment

You book through my online booking page and pay in full at the time of booking, by card through Stripe.
Your booking is confirmed, and our agreement begins, when you receive your confirmation email.
Please check the details in your confirmation and let me know straight away if anything is incorrect.
For services booked by enquiry, and for optional extras requested after you book, I will send you a payment link or invoice. Payment is due before your session.

4. Your right to cancel within 14 days

By law, you may cancel within 14 days of the day you book, for any reason.

If your session has not taken place and I have not started work on your service, I will refund you in full.
If you have asked me to begin your service within those 14 days and then cancel, I may retain an amount proportionate to the work already carried out.
Once your service has been provided in full, it can no longer be cancelled.

5. Rescheduling and late cancellation

These rules apply once the 14 days for cancellation have passed.

More than 48 hours before your session: you may reschedule free of charge using the link in your confirmation email, or cancel for a full refund.
Less than 48 hours before your session: the fee cannot be refunded, although I will offer you one new date where possible.
If you miss your session without notice, the fee cannot be refunded.
If you are running late, your session will still end at its scheduled time.

6. If I need to cancel

If I have to cancel or move your session, for example because of illness, I will let you know as soon as possible and offer you a new date or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

7. Refunds

Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of your cancellation.

8. Clothing and other purchases

Any clothing, shoes or accessories I recommend are bought by you, directly from the retailer. The retailer's own prices, delivery and returns policies apply, and I am not responsible for their stock or service.

9. My service to you

I will provide every service with reasonable care and skill. Style is personal, and my recommendations represent my professional opinion. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

10. Photos and your information

I will share photos of you, or details of our work together, only with your written permission. I use your personal information solely to provide your service, and I never sell it. Please read my privacy policy for full details.

11. How to cancel or raise a concern

To cancel, please email jordan.james@thexsuit.co.uk with your name, the service and the date you booked. You may use the form below, but this is not required.

12. Governing law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. I may update them from time to time; the version published on this page at the time you book applies to your booking.
